3 tahun kemudian, Belanda kembali membawa pohon kopi hasil stek dari Malabar. Dan di tahun 1706, biji kopi hasil tanaman di pulau Jawa ini berhasil dan menjadi populer. Popularitas penjualan inilah yang akhirnya membuat Belanda menanam biji kopi di tiap-tiap pulau di Indonesia. Dan dari sinilah awal kemunculan berbagai ragam jenis kopi yang ada di Indonesia.
